Chip transportation

The two conveyors that supply the boiler operate alternately so that maintenance work does not hold up production. As a result, the boiler is fed continuously by either of the two conveyors, at a maximum rate of 100 tonnes per hour.

The chips produced by the chipper are carried via a system of conveyors either directly to the boiler or to the storage facilities. The computer-managed conveyors can supply 100 tonnes of chips an hour.
